Masterplan 2014 - 2016

Vision Statement

Lesnes Abbey Woods...
...will become the heart of the community;
a high quality open space with excellent access
and sought after facilities, attracting people from
all backgrounds both locally and beyond.

Appealing to current and future generations,
Lesnes Abbey Woos will be a cherished place,
alive with diverse opportunities
for people to celebrate and explore
the park's rich heritage
and all it has to offer.

Design progress and delivery

Delivery of the Enhancement Project Masterplan begins in earnest towards the end of 2014 and is schedulled to complete two years later. A continued process of engagement with groups, communities, project partners and funders is ongoing to ensure plans progress.

The Masterplan was developed and emerged from a wide ranging community engagement programme (please see Your Park, Your Say) and other consultation processes. Further more detailed designs are being produced for the Masterplan in ongoing community engagement activities (see below). Please use the links here to see the emerging designs.
